JBizPro Media Player

Plays a folder of music on repeat - background music for the shop floor or the waiting room. Works with what Media Collector saved.

You need a key to use these. The programs are free, but they only run for JBizPro customers with a live plan. Issue a key in My Page → Keys and paste it into the program when it asks. One key belongs to one PC, and you can move it to another PC at any time.

This is the only guide we keep, so it never goes stale. The Manual link in the program opens this same page.
1. Install v1.0.1
  1. Download the installer and run it. No administrator password needed.
  2. Open JBizPro Media Player from the desktop shortcut.
2. Activate
  1. On the Keys tab: name the PC → Issue key. Shown once.
  2. Paste it into the Activation window in the program → Activate.
3. Point it at a music folder

Press Open music folder... and pick the folder your music is in. It plays mp3, ogg, flac and wav.

The easiest folder to pick is one the Media Collector made for you: open it, press Shop music..., choose a kind of music, tick the tracks you like and download them. The player then shows each track's title, who made it and where it came from.

A folder you filled yourself works too - it just has nothing to show under Track info, because there is no record of where those files came from.

4. Leave it running
  1. Repeat: all plays the whole folder and starts again - that is the setting for a shop that is open all day.
  2. Shuffle mixes the order so the same songs do not land at the same hour every day.
  3. The folder, the volume and these settings are remembered, so tomorrow you only open the program.

If one file is damaged the player skips it and keeps going. It does not stop the music because of one track.

When something is wrong
What you seeWhat to do
“No sound device was found” The PC has no speakers or the audio driver is off. Fix that, then press Play again.
“This folder has no music in it” The folder has no mp3/ogg/flac/wav in it. Pick another folder.
“None of the files ... could be played” Every file in the folder is damaged or in a format we cannot open. Try the folder the Media Collector made.
A row says (file missing) The list still has it but the file was moved or deleted. The player skips it. Download it again, or ignore it.
Music stopped by itself Check Repeat - if it is off the player stops at the end of the folder. Set it to all.
“is already running” It is open once already. Two copies would play over each other, so only one may run. Look for it on the taskbar.
