Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its implementing rules.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your data when you use our platform.
01 Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Data: Name, email address, business name, phone number, and password (stored as a hashed value).
Business Data: Information you upload to train your chatbot (FAQs, products, services) and employee records for payroll.
Employee Data: Name, position, salary, attendance logs, and government ID numbers (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, TIN) required for payroll processing.
Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and session duration to improve the Service.
Payment Data: Transaction references and amounts. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed through trusted payment gateways.
02 How We Use Your Data
To provide, operate, and improve the JBizPro platform
To process payroll and generate payslips for your employees
To train and operate the AI chatbot on your behalf
To send service updates, invoices, and support communications
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
To comply with legal obligations under Philippine law
We never sell your data. JBizPro does not sell, rent, or lease your personal or business data to third parties for marketing purposes.
03 Data Sharing
We may share your data only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: Third-party tools that help us operate (e.g., email delivery, server hosting, payment gateways). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or government authority under Philippine law.
Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the new entity, with notice provided to users.
We do not share employee personal data with any third party outside the scope of payroll processing.
04 Data Retention
Active accounts: data retained as long as the account is active
Cancelled accounts: data retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
Payroll records: retained for 3 years to comply with BIR requirements

05 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with cost factor 12
HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
Cloudflare WAF and DDoS protection
Daily encrypted backups
IP-based brute-force protection and device fingerprinting
Role-based access control for admin operations
Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by the NPC.

08 Children's Privacy
JBizPro is a business-to-business (B2B) service intended for adults operating registered businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years old. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
